Bob Schwartz Goes To GE HealthCare.

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on November 28, 2007

Every once in a while you come across a truly amazing talent and Bob Schwartz is one of them. He just became GM of Global Design at GE Healthcare, which shows just how smart GE Healthcare is. This unit within GE has a long tradition of doing great design—important for patients, doctors, and nurses. GE Healthcare is also very big in India, China and Asia in general.

Bob was chief honcho at the Industrial Designers Society of America when I first started covering design. We worked closely together and he’s just brilliant. He left the IDSA a couple of years back to do some real work (just kidding Bob) at Motorola. Then he went to P&G and now GE Healthcare. You can tell his design and innovation talent from the companies he works at.

Good luck! Are you moving East again?
