Check out this Twitter, especially my photo on the top left. Yep, my “me” brand is being hijacked by dmisanthrope—someone clearly in the design/innovation community who wants to poke fun at folks talking about stuff in the blogosphere.
Clearly, if someone wants to hijack my little ole brand, the whole issue of brand hijacking is becoming very hot. There are some seriously important brands (Steve Jobs) who are being taken captive.
The good news is that the guy (yeah, we all know it’s a guy right?) has a sense of humor and the poking is fun.
So what should I do?
I noticed the other day that someone has set up a dummy "DC1974" page on MySpace. It's been my web and comment brand for so long that I was a little shocked. I assume they are just trying to get my google traffic or something. I think I'm most offended by the fact that he's got some picture up there of an overweight pasty straight white guy. I'm only two of those things.
i would think that having your very own elvis impersonator (thereby elevating you to the stature of elvis) is a good thing. something to aspire to.

Loving the info on this internet site , you have done outstanding job on the content .
I was just seeking this information for a while. After six hours of continuous Googleing, finally I got it in your web site. I wonder what is the lack of Google strategy that do not rank this kind of informative websites in top of the list. Normally the top sites are full of garbage. low cost auto insurance illinois
