Arianna Huffington's New Blog Redesign.

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on May 29, 2007

Check out the redesign of the Huffington site, a liberal blog by the well-connected, really smart Arianna Huffington. It’s been transformed from “blog” to “site” by adding channels for media, business, entertainment, living now (whatever that means)and, of course, politics. Each bucket (have you grown to hate that word yet?) contains lots of good bloggers. Dan Pink is blogging there and he’s great.

I think the redesign is pretty clean and useful. It expands Arianna’s turf from politics to a broad range of topics, making it into a real site. What do you think?

Letter to Congress

Atone yourselves JUST THIS ONCE and take Paulson's head, along with Bush's, Rove's, Cheyney's and all the other swindling Princes of Darkness (Deregulation). AS IF this wasn't happening. AS IF this moment hits you and the educated citizens as a surprise.

Free Capitalism? OK. You lost and you lost big. So YOU MUST pay for your excesses with a commensurate return of all of your and all your Wall Street geek's profits as well as a return to fair taxation on the upper 1% of the populace. Your winking and smugly ignorant (not of how to steal, but how oblivious you believe We The People are of your theft) faces are repugnant and have wrought the scorn of the citizens, the world, and your accomplices.

How disgusting to watch Washington crafts a caring face and poses as concerned for ‘what this may mean for Main Street.’ DO YOU THINK SO? Main Street is just part of Disneyland to you. Your mistake is in believing that the people of the US are all 7 mentally challenged dwarfs. (Don’t you think it’s time to find a new word for ‘politically correct?’)

You tout deregulation and free-market values - but none of you have the balls to risk your own cash the way you dictate the ‘governed’ must risk theirs to make it or break it.

I implore you to really think this one over - because your complacency developed over years of thinking no one knew are OVER. And you will pay with your accounts and portfolios - all built to bursting with no risk to you – and ‘guaranteed forgiven’, once the numbers go south - by the debt you now expect the middle-class to bear the burden of now that you have run out of front men. Or you will pay with your lives - because your hearts are desensitized to living blood.

To those of you who feign stupidity I offer no consolation. You are a leadership of sociopaths who bathe in the Krug of your common sickness, usury and heinous and malfeasant excess, as you mockingly toast your All Host Bar, the American people.

You have been sentenced to Hell by your own manufactured God, as well as by your own manufactured crisis. And you are looking at the end of an epoch. Ever read Plutarch? Pliny? Probably not.

In any case, I would seriously worry about the reaction of the peasants right about now; would not sleep without a nichtwacht, and would dream of the miracle of mercy, which will never be wasted on you.

Glad you enjoyed the party.

Ooops. Sorry. Yeah, I love the new look. On the other hand I made the mistake of sending a blog submission.
