Time Off.

Blog culture is evolving—it’s personal and you’re in a conversation with smart people you like but then its impersonal and strangers are screaming at you. So I don’t exactly know how to say this without sounding strange. But I have to take the next week off to attend to personal stuff. I was off last week doing the same.

Don’t take the silence as inattention to our conversation on innovation and design.

Weblogs are innovations by themselves. It's a little bit like the emergence of life. The very first forms of life were very various and any paleontogist will say you that there were a lot of monsters. Finally, the natural evolution has selected species having a lot of common points.
Four legs, two eyes, two ears. This wasn't the case in the early times. It's the same with every innovation breakthrough. And sometimes forgotten species or forgotten inventions find a niche where they can prosper.
The fuel cell is a perfect example.
