The Hunt For Innovative Talent--The D-Schools.

Posted by: Bruce Nussbaum on September 17, 2006

IN2 is out on the stands, with stories on Jonnie Ive at Apple and how he does the craft of design, how ZIBA Design does incredible consumer research in China, how Bob Sutton sees Brainstorming and how David Kelley does MindMapping. WE have a great story on Metrics Madness and another on the madness of crowdsourcing (or how to do it right).

Coming up is a big takeout on new places for companies (all organizations) to find innovative talent—the D-Schools. We’re taking a broad global look at the programs in both design and business schools that teach design thinking—how to think creativity and with empathy and passion.

But for now, I’m taking a break and heading off to Austin for the annual IDEA awards. I’ll be blogging and you can check out Core77 for more on the minute by minute happenings at the conference. There’s a hot Lenovo party Monday night, I hear.

They have this incredible mini-car derby sponsored by IBM that is truly incredible. We’re talking I’ll try and get images for the I&D site.
