The 2006 Honda Civic Hybrid is a lesson in innovation and design. It comes out as Honda announces its new motorcycles for next year (and just days after Honda showed off its new motorcycle airbag—a first). Honda is one of the few companies that makes both motorcycles and automobiles—and races them. Thanks to Metacool I am reminded of the racing heritage of this great Japanese company and of its founder Soichiro Honda.
The 2006 four-door civic has great styling, gets 49/51 miles per gallon and costs $21,850. Now think about that. A jazzy car with advanced engine technology that gives you about double the average mileage for a really modest price. That’s car design.
