Signal vs. Noise has a good what-to-do list for designers trying to satisfy their corporate client needs. It’s by consultant Joe Grant. My favorite part of the item is the list of comments by designers who moan about the common-senseness of most of the suggestions and offer up some interesting ones of their own.

All of those, need to look towards creating a innovative organisation this would need change in lot of things like
Policy
Organisation structure
Environment
need to bring innovation in the company's product develpment process.
