Additional Evidence Anyone Can Do Video On The Web

Posted by: Jon Fine on May 25

In the below mediabistro.com video, I express bafflement at Michael Wolff’s insistence that the New York Times Co. is dangerously close to being “in play,” and attempt to make him come to his senses.

Comments/brickbats/suggestions/future topics heartily welcomed. (Full disclosure: my wife is the founder and CEO of mediabistro.)

Find use of the medium, Jon. Two comments:
* Yup, cheap, digital technology allows anyone - even you and me - to have the capability to do what only CNN could a few years ago.
* Second, the amateur video guy in me suspects this was shot in high def (a 16:9 aspect ratio) and then down-coded to standard def. Unfortunately, SD has a different aspect ratio (4:3) ... which may be why the Mediabistro logo is chopped off, and Michael appears partially out of frame. That's a small quibble.

Keep doing more.
