Time Inc, purchase price for the Times Mirror (soon to be renamed Time4 Media) magazine group, December, 2000:

$475 million

Likely sale price* of entire Time4Media magazine group—not including This Old House and Golf Magazine, which Time Inc. is retaining—plus its two Parenting Group magazines and related businesses, January, 2007:

Approximately $225 million.

(*: precise sale price undisclosed, but this is roughly what sources close to the situation say.)
