Late August is the perfect time to bury media news you don’t want publicized, seeing as half the jounalistic corps and two-thirds of their readers are checked out. Just ask Hachette, Hearst or Time Inc.

So when does Viacom release the potentially market-moving development that CEO Tom Freston is out?

The morning everyone comes back from vacation—and more specifically the day all journalists come back from vacation and enter their offices with the terrifying realization they’ve got nothing to write about.

An astute observation! Also, isn't Monday the day, traditionally, that the stock market has experienced some of its rockiest times?
