Lonelygirl15: Game Even Over-er, Bree Unmasked

Posted by: Jon Fine on September 12

Bree = Jessica Rose.

Says Silicon Valley Watcher. (UPDATE 9/13: And the New York Times and the Los Angeles Times, and Milowent.)

If, as they report, she is indeed from New Zealand, it would go far towards explaining why a media sensation in the States failed to flush out old pals.

Googling turns up cached photos of a “Jessica” affiliated with New Zealand-based talent/modelling agency Clyne Management.

Meanwhile:

Daniel, Daniel, come in from the cold. We know all too well how hard it was “befriending” the shy cute girl in high school, hoping against hope she’d start to like you “that way.”

I’m serious. Try me at jon_fine@businessweek.com.

UPDATE 9/14: DanielBeast also identified.
