TTM Technologies (TTMI)

TTM's name is short for "time-to-market" -- an expression of the company's mission to help its customers slash the amount of time it takes to develop new electronic products and speed them onto the market. TTM is one of the few North American firms that focuses on making printed circuit boards, which it sells to original equipment manufacturers and electronics manufacturing services companies. The company has seen its profits fly 126% a year on average over the past three years. It has been focusing on improving its profit margins, and in the most recent quarter, TTM boosted its gross margin to 27.8%, from 23.8% in the previous quarter. Investors are taking notice, pushing the company's share price from $6 last summer to over $14 in May.
