W&T Offshore

Tracy W. Krohn serves as a director of W&T Offshore Inc. and has been its chairman since 2004, chief executive officer, and president since 1983 and treasurer since 1997. Krohn founded W&T Offshore in 1983. He has been actively involved in the oil and gas business since graduating with a BS in petroleum engineering from Louisiana State University in 1978. He began his career as a petroleum engineer and offshore drilling supervisor with Mobil Oil. Prior to founding W&T in 1983, Krohn served as senior engineer with Taylor Energy. From 1996 to 1997, Krohn also served as chairman and CEO of Aviara Energy Corp. in Houston.
