Entrepreneurialism is the key to European growth. Across the region, a growing class of young entrepreneurs is harnessing innovation and creativity to build new businesses and create wealth. With this in mind, BusinessWeek.com is embarking on a search for Europe's Best Entrepreneurs 25 and under.
We're looking for young people running their own companies -- real, fully operational companies. Business plans are important, of course, but we're really out to find young business leaders who have taken the proverbial plunge and already put those plans into action. Our goal is to find truly innovative businesses that both demonstrate a clear potential for growth and establish the talent of the savvy, young entrepreneurs behind them. In short, we are looking for the next generation of Europe's success stories.
What do we need from you? Send us your nominations using the form on this page and tell us why the young entrepreneur you have in mind stands out. Nominees must be 25 years old or less at the time of nomination.
When the call for nominations concludes on May 14, our editors will sift through the talent pool and narrow the selection down to a group of finalists. Then we'll have you vote for the small-biz whizzes who show the most promise. On July 2, the five Best Entrepreneurs 25 and under will be announced online.
