Real Madrid Signing Ronaldo Worth $75 Million in Extra Revenue

Posted by: Mark Scott on June 11

A quick update to my posting below on Real Madrid acquiring Brazilian soccer star Kaká. On June 11, Madrid’s Florentino Pérez was at it again — this time offering a staggering £80 million ($132 million) for Portuguese striker, and current Fifa World Player of the Year, Cristiano Ronaldo. The club is expected to finalize the deal by June 30.

Following on from the expected $100 million in extra annual revenue generated for Real Madrid by signing Kaká, Ronaldo could add a further $75 million a season through added T-shirt sales, sponsorship deals, and ticket revenue. That’s the take from Simon Chadwick, director of the Centre for the International Business of Sport at Coventry University in Britain. So Real Madrid should be able to recoup their investment in less than two years. If rumors are to be believed, more multi-million deals from the Spanish giants are expected in the near future.

IN MY OPINION C,RONALDO IS STILL THE BEST PLAYER IN THE PLANET AND $132 MILLION IS VERY LESS FOR RONALDO ACCORDING TO HIS TALENENT.I LOVE RONALDO
