Q: Will I be entering to win a specific Fantasy Career prize?
A: No. Feel free to tailor your essay however you like. Essay doesn’t need to be about one of the three prizes at all. The awarding of prizes will be based upon the criteria outlined in the Contest Rules, and at the sole discretion of the judging panel.
Q: What kind of information should be included in the essay?
We encourage entrants to be as creative as possible in their execution. First and foremost, the essay should reflect candidate's unique personality. Topics to consider include:
- Why you think you should win a BusinessWeek Fantasy Career
- Why you want to win a BusinessWeek Fantasy Career
- What particular skills or talents you believe you will bring to a BusinessWeek Fantasy Career
- What personal experiences would contribute to your success in a BusinessWeek Fantasy Career
- How your current profession relates (if at all) to a Fantasy Career
- Why friends/colleagues think you would be well-suited to a Fantasy Career
- How a Fantasy Career would affect your life
