Who's Got Time To Surf?
The average time spent per person per week online increased nearly 45 minutes in October, jumping 9.3%, to 8 hours and 13 minutes. Back in August -- ages ago at Internet speed -- the average Web surfer spent 7 hours and 49 minutes online each week. Who's hanging out on the Web most? In general, men. On average, guys spent nearly 9 hours online, almost 90 minutes longer than women. But the longest times, regardless of gender, were clocked by full-time students, who recorded an average of nearly 13 hours on the Web.
