And the Winner for Best Internet Access Is...
Which Internet service provider gives the best service? Now there's a quantitative way to measure performance. Inverse Network Technology makes some 250,000 calls to ISPs across the country each month to test how often and how well they work. The following rankings are based on how often calls to the ISP fail because of a busy signal, a modem problem, no answer, or a login failure. To receive an A+, an ISP has to have an average call success rate of at least 95% in its worst performing city. For an A, it must have an average call success rate of at least 80%. Inverse does not release figures for ISPs that get less than a B.
