Are You Being Truthful?
As more and more Web sites attempt to gather personal demographic information before allowing access to locations on their sites, questions are beginning to emerge about how truthful Net users are. According to a recent study of 303 users, nearly 1 in 10 said they provided inaccurate information or lied when registering. And nearly 2 out of 10 said that they left the site when asked to cough up some details.

Did you tell the truth?
72% claim they provided accurate information
9% claim they told a fib
19% claim they left the site when asked to fill out the registration form
