E-commerce is a dazzling possibility. But companies still need to learn the ropes of logistics -- such as storing, wrapping, and shipping packages. This could produce problems. According to a Forrester Research study, called "Mastering Commerce Logistics," most companies are still losing money on the basic blocking-and-tackling of shipping products.

50% ship less than 400 packages per day
