The Most Popular Hangouts on the Web
What's hot and what's not in cyberspace is constantly changing. First, search and directory sites were all the rage. But according to a recent survey of 764 Netizens, sports sites now reign supreme. Indeed, one in every six online users say that's the type of Web site they visit most while roaming the Internet. Other favorite destinations include travel, education, and news sites. By contrast, just 1 in about 16 users say they hit e-commerce spots most often, though that is expected to change as the holidays draw near.
