Online Ad Spending Soars Worldwide
Global ad spending on the Internet is expected to catapult from $3 billion in 1999 to $33 billion by 2004. While U.S. companies will continue to dominate Web advertising, about one-third of spending will come from non-U.S. sources -- up from just 16% today.
