A Child's Net
Kids and teens are expected to account for $1.3 billion in E-commerce in 2002, or less than 5% of the overall total, making them a new growth sector for online shopping, says researcher Jupiter Communications. And that has parents worried. The number of moms and dads concerned about advertising to children has doubled in a year, from 17% in 1998 to 45% in 1999.
