Hotel E-Bookings Set to Soar
Less than 1% of all hotel revenues last year came through bookings made over the Internet, but in the next three years, these are set to more than quintuple. The majority of bookings are now made through hotel Web sites. By 2001, more will occur via travel Web sites like Expedia or Preview Travel.
