PC Headaches for the TV Networks
A new survey carries good news for computer makers and bad news for TV networks. It shows that heavy TV watchers, nearly one-third of American households, are shelling out for PCs and modems. And in households where people surf the Net on a regular basis, TV-watching plummets.

Heavy TV-watching households: 32%
Heavy TV-watching households with PCs: 27%
Those with Internet access: 26%
Those whose computer is used every day: 17%
Those who use the Internet daily: 9%
