E-Business Software is E-Rupting

More proof that the e-business software market is booming: AMR Research Inc. published a June study predicting that the enterprise application market will reach $78 billion by 2004, up from $27 billion in 1999. That's an annual compound growth rate (CAGR) of 24% -- not too shabby. The growth, not surprisingly, is coming from Net software markets in areas such as supply-chain management and e-commerce applications. Here are some of those markets:
