Salary Surprises
|
Large corporations have been raising their salaries to become more competitive with high-flying Internet companies. But when it comes to CEO-level positions, Corporate America might think twice. According to a recent VentureOne compensation survey, the median salary (not including stock options) for CEO-level jobs was higher at non-Internet companies than the median salary for Internet poobahs. The real premium for Internet executives is at the vice-presidential level.
