Dot-Com Jitters
An Apr. 17 survey by CIO magazine shows that chief information officers are starting to snub career opportunities at dot-com companies. The poll queried 325 CIOs at the nation's largest publicly held companies and found:
| 17% would accept a lateral move to a dot-com with uncertain profit potential |
| 78% expect more than half of today's e-commerce retailers will be dead before the end of 2001 |
