The Outsourcing Solution

Businesses that outsource payroll, information technology, sales, or assembly are growing faster and more profitably than those that don't, according to a new PricewaterhouseCoopers survey of 440 fast-growing product and service companies.


Of the companies that outsource:

70% say it saves them money

24% say they're breaking even

6% say they lose money

Companies that outsource:

are 15% larger than peers that don't

post, on average, $31.2 million in revenues, vs. $27.1 million
