Web Fees Are Falling Worldwide
|
As worldwide Internet usage grows, the cost of getting online continues to drop. From October to March, the fees for Net access dropped by more than 15% in the 29 countries of the Organization for Economic Cooperation & Development, the OECD says. The average cost of 20 hours of off-peak surfing in OECD countries fell to $32.29 from $38.06, while the price for 40 hours off-peak dropped to $45.34 from $54.36.
