U.S. Stimulus Plan Falls Flat

Concerns about the lack of impact of the $787 billion federal stimulus plan, in this video edition of The Business Week

President Obama signed the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act into law in February. The President said the resulting stimulus spending on construction, education, and other programs would create jobs and help improve the weakened economy. Critics contend it hasn’t had much of an effect. BusinessWeek's Washington correspondent Theo Francis assesses the stimulus plan and discusses the chances that Congress could pass an additional measure.
