XTO Energy

Bob R. Simpson is a co-founder and has been Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of XTO Energy Inc. since July 1, 1996. Mr. Simpson served as Chief Executive Officer or held similar positions with XTO Energy Inc. and its predecessors since 1986 until July 1, 1996. Mr. Simpson was Vice President of Finance and Corporate Development of Southland Royalty Company from 1979 to 1986 and as its Tax Manager from 1976 to 1979. He has been a Director of XTO Energy Inc. since 1990. He attended Baylor University where he earned a BS degree in Accounting with honors and then an MBA.
