John G. Drosdick has been Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sunoco Inc. (a manufacturer and marketer of petroleum and petrochemical products) since May 2000. Prior to that, Mr. Drosdick served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Sunoco Inc. from December 1996 until May 2000. Mr. Drosdick began his career with Exxon Corporation in 1968 and held a wide variety of management positions for 15 years. He was named President of Tosco Corporation in 1987 and President of Ultramar Corporation in 1992. Mr. Drosdick has been Chairman of the Board of Sunoco Partners LLC, the General Partner of Sunoco Logistics Partners LP since October 2001 and serves as a Director. Mr. Drosdick has been a Director of United States Steel Corp. since February 25, 2003 and also serves as a Member of Corporate Governance and Audit Committees. Mr. Drosdick has been a Director of Lincoln National Corp. since 2000 and is a Member of its Compensation Committee. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Villanova University and serves on the Board of Trustees of the Philadelphia Museum of Art and Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. Mr. Drosdick has been a Director of Sunoco Inc. since December 1996. Mr. Drosdick graduated from Villanova University with a BS Degree in Chemical Engineering and received a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
