EOG Resources

Mark G. Papa has been the Chief Executive Officer of Eog Resources Inc., one of the leading non-integrated oil and natural gas companies in the United States, since September 1998 and Chairman of the Board since August 1999. Mr. Papa served as the Chief Operating Officer of EOG Resources Inc. since September 1997 and as its President since December 1996. Mr. Papa served as President for North America Operations of Eog Resources Inc. from February 1994 to September 1998. He held a number of management positions with EOG Resources Inc. from February 1994 to August 1999. Mr. Papa joined Belco Petroleum Corporation, a predecessor of Eog Resources Inc. in 1981. He has served in operational and senior management roles since joining that company in 1981. Prior to 1981, he served in various engineering and management roles for Conoco Inc. Mr. Papa has been a Director of Magellan GP LLC, General Partner of Magellan Midstream Partners LP, on July 31, 2003. Mr. Papa has been a Director of Eog Resources Inc. since September 1998. Mr. Papa has been a Director of Oil States International Inc., an oilfield services company, since February 2001 and serves as Chairman and Member of Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee and as a Member of Compensation Committee. Mr. Papa is also the Chairman of the U.S. Oil and Gas Association. Mr. Papa received a Bachelor's Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Houston.
