G. Steven Farris has been Chief Executive Officer of Apache Corp. since May 2002 and President and Chief Operating Officer since May 1994. Mr. Farris also serves as Managing Partner for Apache Offshore Investment Partnership. Mr. Farris served as Senior Vice President of Apache Corp. from 1991 to 1994, and Vice President, exploration and production from 1988 to 1991. Prior to joining Apache, Mr. Farris was with Terra Resources Inc., a Tulsa, Oklahoma oil and gas company, where he served as Vice President and Treasurer from 1983 to 1988. From 1978 to 1983, he was Executive Vice President of Robert W. Berry, Inc., an independent exploration and production company with real estate activities. He has been a Director of Apache Corp. since 1994 and is a Member of its Executive Committee.
