I couldn't be happier anywhere else. Washington and Lee is a small school, so I personally know around 50% of the school. We're based around an honor code, so I have no problem leaving a laptop or iPod anywhere, on campus or at an off-campus house. As for the business program, my peers are all intelligent, driven young professionals and so we all give each other friendly competition in learning the material, which is extensive. Professors expect a lot, we give a lot.

The job placement process at Washington and Lee is outstanding. Professors have an honest interest in your success, and the alumni network encourages you to contact them. This is demonstrated through the success of the New York Spring Term Program in international finance.

I had several job offers from companies that I would not have known about had it not been for grads who came back to campus to recruit and speak about their firms. In all, the business program at Washington and Lee has risen above my expectations and made for a wonderful four years here on campus.

As a small liberal arts university, you are mostly only allowed to take business classes as a junior.

The overwhelming fraternity system at Washington and Lee results in forced socialization, which may be good for the future career but is not for everybody.
