Most job placement is in Virginia or Washington D.C. It is a bit more difficult since I am from Colorado to get any job out there.

Business classes tend to be large and taught by TAs, most professors are too busy doing research and don't want to be bothered during office hours. Business core classes are extremely challenging to force people out of the program.

Tech does a decent job, considering the staggering number of people in the business program.

I must admit that there were certain teachers in the business department who were not effective at teaching their respective subjects, and these teachers would most likely be on tenure.

At Virginia Tech, you are a number unless you try to do something about it. No one will hand feed. It is your responbiblity to get invovled and join clubs, intramurals, and fraternal organizations. You have to study and expect anything because every test is made with the intent of a bell curve knowing the majority will get a C average.
