At such a large school, it is really about how much you make of it. The resources are there, but it takes a proactive student to make the most of them.

The McCombs School of Business is hands down the best bang for your buck. The PPA program at McCombs is the best in the nation, by far.

One downfall, I think, is that our program lacks communication and networking with alumni. There is a Web site set up to keep alumni information current and available to students, however, it is not highly utilized by students or alum.

The variety of resources for business students is mind boggling. Students have free access to many business databases that students at other schools pay for. Computer labs are plentiful and beautiful, and they are open nearly all day and night.

This business school is overrated. No analytical skills are taught. Classes are huge and taught by unqualified professors who seem overextended with responsibilities.

The school is very strong in finance and accounting but lacking heavily in business strategy and development and entrepreneurism. Marketing opportunities are heavily limited to sales positions.
