Technology changes made over the past three years:
Cox completed a full upgrade of network and systems technology. All networks operate on multi-gigabit backbones ranging from 1GB to 20GB. The entire wireless system has been upgraded to 802.11a/b/g. We have a theatre-quality auditorium and state-of-the-art teaching technology. SMU has also upgraded or expanded servers, teaching technology, and wireless networks in residence halls, classrooms, and administrative buildings. Computer labs and on-line resources are regularly upgraded and expanded.
