The Haas undergraduate program itself does not readily help individual students with recruiting and networking. However, through my involvement with Delta Sigma Pi, an international professional business fraternity, I was able to create my own niche in the Haas school.

I was accepted to the Wharton School [at the University of Pennsylvania], but I am happy I decided on Haas. I beleive I am able to lead a more well-rounded life while still getting an excellent job upon graduation.

The Haas School of Business has been a tremendous experience. The faculty is leading experts with much on-the-side consulting experience. The selectivity of the program and small size ensures an incredible intellectual environment.

Haas Business school only gives As to a small portion of top achievers, which creates an environment that is not conducive to learning, participation, and team collaboration. You are fighting against your peers for a better grade.

My starting salary is $62,000, which adds up to close to $70,000 with bonus. I will be working as a management consultant for Sapient. It is because of Haas that I was honestly able to do this. It provided me with the necessary case interview preparation through the Strategic Planning and Implementation course offered as well as the case competitions offered.

I wish Haas had a little more diversity. Minority representation is very small in comparison to the Asian population in the business school.
