Fordham can be a tough atmosphere and many students are very confident in what they try to accomplish. This is the end result of attending a school in New York.

The purpose of the program is not to cause struggle or failure; instead it is to work effectively, think creatively, and succeed.

Fordham business courses are difficult and quite strict in their grading policies. Regardless of what grade you receive in the class, you definitely leave learning more than you expected.

Fordham doesn’t give students the opportunity to pursue a vast range of classes. There are too many required classes to take and not enough opportunity to learn about alternative fields. There is also a limited number of classes to take in each field.

The coursework is extremely relevant and all of the teachers have outstanding knowledge of the field and topic that they teach. Many of my professors have years of experience in their designated fields and are more than willing to offer advice and share their experiences with students on a daily basis.

The career planning and placement department at Fordham offers a wide variety of job hunt, interview, resume, and internship seminars that students actually take full advantage of.
