At many schools, undergraduate business programs are underappreciated because the focus is on the MBA program rankings. That isn't the case here. The classes are small. The professors are outstanding. And, there is always someone to help you out in the BBA program office.

The business school program strikes a great balance between nurture and independence. I have numerous resources which I can use if I have any questions or need any guidance in seeking out my goals for my future, but at the same time, I have the opportunity to be independent in my search, allowing me to develop my own ability to seek out my goals.

I really noticed a difference in the level of advisement since I entered the business school. Out of every corner came academic advisers, job placement advisers, etc., and it amazed me how much these advisers really were willing to help me in any way they could.

I cannot stress enough the great faculty Goizueta has at its disposal and their passion for the subjects they teach. Students as well are bright and engaging without being overly cut-throat and competitive.

I wasn't informed of the intense competition out there. While I am a good student, the business school's level of great students makes me feel like I cannot compete with my fellow classmates, let alone anyone else. I want to learn how to make myself more appealing to firms, as well as finding a more perfect fit for myself and another firm, rather than me out-competing my fellow classmates.

Emory is a medium-size school but attending Goizueta's BBA program allows me to get the small school academic environment mixed with a larger school's social life. Everyone knows everyone else at Goizueta. This environment fosters community in a grading system that should foster competition. The BBA administrative staff is really devoted to enhancing, not only the school's reputation, but also each individual's experience. This is especially evident with "Kegs in the courtyard" every Thursday, where faculty and students get together for some beer (or soda for those under 21) and snacks.
