The lack of use of vital business technologies within the classroom is a major concern. In today's business classroom, there cannot be a learning curve for emerging technologies. Teaching students to use the latest technology must be a point of emphasis if we are to lead this country into the next millennium.

It has more hands-on projects than any other school I know, allowing you to apply the techniques you learned in the classroom. The small classroom sizes allow for more discussion rather than just lectures. The teachers are always available and interested in your development, and even invite you to dinner and events with their families.

Baylor strongly encourages international exchanges and study abroad programs. I was able to spend a year in Edinburgh, Scotland, as opposed to only a semester. I found that experience to be one of the hightlights of my education, and I think it is a real strength of Baylor.

Through my major's program (sports, sponsorship, and sales) we have been in constant contact with corporate executives for all of the major sports franchises in Texas, Nashville, and San Francisco. This alone has provided internships and full-time jobs for a good number of students.

There is the need to speak more personally with academic advisers or career planning staff toward the beginning of the undergrad experience. I never knew about many of the helpful opportunities until I was a senior.

Not only was I prepared very well for the ideas of business, I was even more prepared in regards to the ethics and etiquette of business. Where most schools would mostly concentrate on simply teaching the material and handing out grades, my professors were concerned with making sure that all material was clearly explained and learned thoroughly.
