Getting In  Academics & Lifestyle Careers & Alumni Affairs Student Comments
 STUDENT COMMENTS

Although it doesn't have the reputation of University of Pennsylvania and other Ivy League schools, American provides paths to internships and careers because of its key location.

At Kogod, students are not just numbers. Every time I see my adviser, she has to ask me what my account number is because she knows me by name, not number.

The school has brought in many new business career services staffers who have opened many new avenues for Kogod students. While I do not feel that the school is drawing the number of business recruiters it will in the future, the growth is notable over the past year.

While AU may not have a great social scene, Kogod students are outgoing while maintaining a sense of professionalism. We have a sense of community that I do not see in any other schools on campus.

Classes often teach to the lowest common denominator, pulling the class down to the level of the least interested rather than pulling up to the level of the most interested.

The academic exprience far exceeded my expectations and was demanding, but prepared me for my career.
