Rawls College of Business

The Rawls College of Business is part of Texas Tech University, a Carnegie RU/H, Tier I research institution. Established in 1942, Rawls granted the first doctorate in business in 1968. The profile of the college improved dramatically in 2001 with a $25 million gift from Jerry S. Rawls. In 2012 we opened the doors to a new $63 million, 147,000 square foot building, further enhancing our research and learning environment. Faculty include nationally recognized, field-leading experts in every degree program. In addition, we are widely recognized as a premier educational institution in the field of Energy Commerce.
