- Work study: WORK STUDY jobs are primarily on‐campus to meet the needs of university. AMERICA READS/AMERICA COUNTS program: community service program tutoring area elementary students in reading and mathematics. -Our co-op program allows a student to work F/T for a semester, return to school for the next semester then repeat the cycle again for at least one more year. The basis of co‐op ed has been the integration of theory learned in the classroom with practice on the co‐op work assignment.

- Study abroad programs: Students may complete a traditional semester abroad or take advantage of our shorter International Immersion Programs. Specific to the College of Business, International Immersions allows students to study business in another country for 2-3 weeks under the supervision of faculty members, and receive 3 credit hours. Courses are offered in United Arab Emirates, Spain, Chile/Argentina, New Zealand/Australia, Finland, Malaysia/Singapore and the Canary Islands (business plan competition).

- Volunteer opportunities: 18 business student orgs volunteer every semester. Real Estate Finance students volunteer at Habitat for Humanity. The Latino Financial Issues Program mentors middle and HS students in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and college readiness. Over 450 students annually teach econ. principles and entrepreneurship through Junior Achievement. Accounting students volunteer with Volunteer Income Tax Assistance. The Investment Society manages an investment portfolio for a microfinance fund.
