About School of Business Administration

The first business school in Florida, Stetson University’s School of Business Administration offers a wide range of majors in its undergraduate business program, as well as a number of master’s programs. Since 1883, Stetson's vision has remained constant: engaging students with challenging academics and instilling values for life; and, educating those who are daring enough to pursue not just success, but significance.     There are numerous student employment opportunities available at Stetson University that allow students in the school of business to gain professional skills and experience. Particularly, the Roland George Program allows students to earn Federal Work Study Funds while gaining firsthand experience managing a portfolio of approximately 2.9 million dollars. Students also have opportunities to work with private sector Asset Management Firms through the FWS program.

    A six-week study abroad term is available during the summer in Innsbruck. Students have the opportunity for short term abroad trips to various countries including Cuba, Japan and China. All University Study Abroad programs are also available to Business Students.

    In addition to the wide variety of volunteer opportunities available to all students, business students have worked with local non-profit agencies helping with marketing, web design, fundraising, and event management and coordination. Accounting majors also have the opportunity to participate in the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program, where they are trained on Tax preparation and help individuals in the community file their taxes for free.
