      • -The professors are mostly part time lecturers who maintain a profession in the business world. They provide interesting, real accounts to business experiences and relating them to the course material.

-While there are a lot of positives to the program, more could be done to make the business school community feel as a "whole." It is a large school which makes this difficult, but maybe different events, etc. could take place to get students to feel as more of a cohesive unit.

-I feel that the size of Rutgers and its diversity makes it very unique. In many of my classes, there are students from all over the globe who provide input about their cultures, economy, upbringing, etc., which provides other students with a lot of different views about business worldwide. For most business students, it is quite plausible to imagine working overseas and the diversity at Rutgers as well as the expertise of many faculty members provides students with a solid foundation of global business.

-If I had to suggest anything I would recommend a better advising team. During my time here I had different advisors every year. It became difficult to build a relationship with and advisor who might have been able to help me more during my time here. Scheduling becomes challenging at times and having someone who was more available to help would have made me feel more comfortable at times.

-The diversity and the amount of emphasized teamwork placed in all of the core classes really contributes to defining leadership abilities. It's really up to the students to make the most out of the opportunities presented to them, and when they do, wonderful experiences result and friendships among classmates are created.

-The school definitely needs to improve the level of teaching by hiring better professors, and improve quality of courses such as Operations Management, which is absolutely terrible and unacceptable.

-The professors all have had very relevant work experience and take time out of their schedules to help students. Also, given proximity to alumni in the NYC area, it makes it easier for many alumni to return and recruit students at Rutgers.

-RBS has a very strong focus on Accounting and Financing. It would be good if other areas were brought into focus as well, like Marketing and Management. Both these areas are somewhat weak and students don't have much orientation in both these majors.

-Although Rutgers is a very large university, Rutgers Business School becomes a much smaller community. We have great professors that come to us with a lot of great business experience. We learn concepts from the textbook but more so from real life stories and examples. We are challenged all the time in our classes and we all work together to get through it. Rutgers is known for it's diversity and the Business School is no different. I have learned how to work across cultures and have really created such a wonderful network. Although Rutgers wasn't my first choice, economically it was my brat option and I learned so much during my time horror.

-I kind of wish that there was more hand-holding when it came to the job search. While there were plenty of career management events to help, I felt that there was a clique-ish mentality that prevented comparatively inexperienced students like myself from really getting the meat out of these programs. Overall, the people who did attend these events were already season and as such made these events less accessible.

-Our business program may not come from an ivy league, but the professors at the university are very experienced and come from good companies. With locations in New Brunswick and Newark, there is a good amount of diversity. Many international students are at the Newark campus. Our location provides us with a competitive advantage since we are close to Philadelphia and New York City. Our MBA program is rated among one of the top ones.
