A variety of opportunities exist beyond the classroom. The Rowan University Trading Room Sponsored by Northwestern Mutual Financial Network is equipped with Bloomberg Terminals. Students manage a $100,000 investment fund. With eight student organizations, students begin doing in addition to learning. Other activities and career services provided to undergraduate business students:Course embedded career modules in freshman, junior, and senior level required courses. In these modules students learn skill identification, resume writing, and professional interviewing. Fall and Spring Career Fairs are held. An Accounting Expo is held in the early fall. A Federal Government and Non-Profit Career Fair is held. A Business Etiquette Dinner is offered in both fall and spring. "Ask an Alum" is held in the spring, which brings alumni to campus for a networking event. |
