      • Study abroad programs: Classes and International Business Information Students in the IB option programs (all programs except Australia) will earn the IB option IF they complete the required courses abroad with appropriate grades/credits as well as pass BA 348 and BA 349. Grades earned abroad are calculated into OSU and COB GPA. It's important to do well in classes on exchange! Note: Students going to Australia take classes that are part of our sophomore, junior and/or senior core depending on class standing at term of participation.Students participating on any of the other nine programs will take the equivalent of 18 credits while abroad. These classes will involve studies in international finance, international marketing and international management. Depending on the location, students take 4-5 classes throughout the term.
      • Volunteer opportunities: Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) continue their work to combat hunger; raising over 70,000 pounds of food for local food banks, teaching financial literacy and market economic principles at local schools, and participating in the planning and execution of a state-wide hunger conference to be held in January 2012. During the 2010-11 school year, SIFE students logged over 8,600 community service hours.o OSU BIS students volunteered at the Portland SIM golf tournament, raising $10,000 in scholarships for OSU BIS students.
